Me And Jeremy

This is my buddy Jeremy. He sings in an awesome band called The Myriad. They recently were awarded MTV2’s Breakout Band Of The Year. We ate orange chicken together.

Jeremy lives in Redding, where I played a show last night, so I’m glad we were able to meet up. There was also someone at the table who ate two full tablespoons of butter for three dollars and twenty three cents. Gross.

Anyway check out The Myriad. I toured with them last fall and we had an amazing time. Great guys and now great friends.

Two tablespoons of butter? That’s pretty darn nasty. I got to see you on tour with the Myriad in November! Those guys are pretty good :)!

I once saw a guy eat a whole jar of mayonaise for $5. Oh he finished it, but quickly ran to the bathroom and gagged it up. Yuck! The things people do for money, oh well it was a pretty darn good show.

And, I would totally charge a lot more $$ if people wanted me to eat 2 TBSP of butter…that’s just nasty!

Heya Phil :) Just want you to know that you have fans all the way in Singapore. And I really wanna thank you so much for all your music. It’s really helped me during times where I needed answers from the Lord most. God bless you, Phil. And Happy Valentine’s Day :)

I need to listen to the Myriad some more.

And if Keely is right, I’m definitely with you on The Killers on guitar hero. “When You Were Young” is my favorite haha

While playing spoons I had to eat a tablespoon of margarine spread with minced garlic - It was the NASTIEST thing I’ve ever eaten!

I have chugged a dish of salsa though–that isn’t too bad.

Today at church I was introduced to your music and told about your upcoming appearance in Albany. The songs the Lord has given you are breathtaking, joyful, wonderful, beautiful. I’m not young & beautiful like you but I plan to be there in Albany on Feb.29th. I just ordered 2 copies “Cannons” & your first cd also. I can’t wait for them to arrive so that I can fully enter into His presence with gladness because of the vessel you are.Praise God!

I think you need to give Raquel a cyber-hug for not playing any shows in Miami

    Hmmmm….

Which would be worse, Phil? Two tablespoons worth of butter?… or… wasabi?

My mouth slammed shut on me just *thinking* about that much wasabi.. haha

  16. anon4him

That’s a good question, Lori - One would make you want to vomit, but the other one would make your nostrils burn like crazy!

Two TBSP of butter? I mean for $3+ that’s not too shabby….

I’m totally lying. That doesn’t sound the least bit appetizing…

lol … you think two tablespoons of butter is gross. My brother-in-law (my sister’s husband) sat down with a bagel one day a very thick layer of “cream cheese”. We asked him “where did you find the cream cheese”. He looked at us strangely and said “its not cream cheese, its butter.”

  19. kristena

Yeah gross who would do that? I’m pretty sure that person had a belly ache for about two days…By the way I think you should owe me ten bucks for that.
