Good Friday

Hey everyone,
I pray you all are having a good Good Friday. In two days the most exciting Sunday of the year will be upon us. The death and resurrection of Christ is the greatest thing that has ever happened to humanity. Remember it. Be inspired by it. And share it with others.

Happy Easter!

    Wow…

I remember seeing you as a ‘Hot new Christian artist” what feels like a zillion years ago. Now I happen across your blog and you’re getting hundreds of comments. Good for you!

I won’t bother leaving you some schpiel you’ll never read about how your music is incredible and every evening I lay in silence and tell Jesus how much I love him while listening to “Divine Romance”. What’d be the point?

Besides to say that your ministry is doing something. None of us is worth anything. Our worth comes from Jesus. And let me say, your ministry is worth something, and so are you.

Okay, that’s all. Why did I just take the time to type something that will never be read?

    I suppose it’s one of life’s mysteries.

Good Friday. Ahhh. No, Great Friday. As I think back on Easter and the amazing gifts God has given us I am reminded of an experience I had last year on Good Friday. At that time, I was a full time youth leader and the non-profit I was working with decided to have an all-nighter skating part with an evangelistic type spin. At about 1 a.m. we packed the kids into this coffee house joint and shared the gospel with them. One girl from my youth group accepted Jesus that night. I will never forget it. Anyways, I wanted to let you know how much I truly appreciate your music. The past fews weeks your two CD’s have been all I want to listen to because they bring me to such a place of worship. So, I thank you. Dear Lord, I pray you would cause Phil to stay true to the calling You have placed on his life. May he never veer to the right or to the left, but stay fixed on following after you. Amen. May it be so, Phil. Blessings!
