| "Singalong" was recorded May 9th, 2008 in Portland, Oregon at Solid Rock Church. This recording is something I have wanted to do for a long time and it's amazing to see it finally come together. The faces represented on the cover are people that were either at the show, or watched the show when it was broadcast online, then sent me their face. I hope you enjoy the record and tell your friends. Thanks so much for stopping by. -phil |

If only I could make such amazing, beautiful music when I’m bored…
Your voice is crazy awesome. Nice selection…
man you really got into that one. it was goood!!
Aww I love the smile you give at the end! OOO I wonder if you can do that guitar slap from August Rush. Wouldn’t that be cool?
<3 Keely
Hey.. what are the chords you used in this? I’m going on a mission trip this summer and all the music we’ll have is voice and two acoustic guitars, one being mine, and I’d love to know how to play this!
Woo HOO. I LOVE that song!!! Good cover bud!
Bored… I ask the Lord to make me consciously aware of Him in every moment. I never heard that song before. I guess because I’m always listening to your music. Your voice & that song=good combination.thanks
I’ve never heard this song before…intensity and beauty…u should get bored more often
Is there anyway you could post the chords you used in this?
Very nice - your voice ads a wonderful and unique quality to an already amazing song!
And I have to say I was shocked and awed (in a good way) that you’re following me on Twitter
phil im not joking when i say this….
THIS WAS SERIOUSLY THE BEST COVER OF HALLELUAH EVER SUNG!!!!!!!!!!!

That was very very lovely. amen.
Wow. That gave me goosebumps.
One of my all time favorite songs, and one heck of a hard one to sing!! I love it
could you do this on an albulm!!!
nice shirt!! lol
When are you coming to Arizona? I’d love to see you in person.
Curious - and this is kind of a personal question - what were the emotions behind the song? You seemed like you were feeling sad? Disillusioned, perhaps? Definitely some negative emotion, it seemed like. Although, in the end, it seemed like singing the song was a relief to you - just to have expressed those emotions in song. I feel that way when I write - just relieved to have expressed my feelings. ^_^ I guess if I were musically fluent, I would probably express myself in that way - it’s interesting how art can be such a powerful outlet for expressing and releasing painful emotions! The arts are definitely a blessing to the artist in that way, for sure. ^_^
Thanks Phil! I love this song and love that fact that you took the time to share your version. Music has so much power to move ones soul, I appreciate how you wield it maturely. Congrats on getting engaged!
Guys Ive been searching the ends of the earth for the chords for the song “after your heart” and the only one I could find is teh incorrect chords put out there by some guy named “Michael” I praise God he attempted it but I am looking for the accurate chords. Can anybody give a helping hand? Phil? !!
Now I know that you probably get a bunch of these all of the time, so I’ll make this quick, but I just have to say that your music is beautiful. Your CDs are just about the only ones that I can just lay on my bedroom floor and sing along to and be completely tuned in to God without worrying about the world around me. I love True Love, it makes me cry every time (grateful tears), and The Light Will Come hit very close to home and helped me work through some things. Thank you for letting the Lord pour out through you and into your music so you could bless others and help them through hard times. Thanks!
