Now I know that you probably get a bunch of these all of the time, so I’ll make this quick, but I just have to say that your music is beautiful. Your CDs are just about the only ones that I can just lay on my bedroom floor and sing along to and be completely tuned in to God without worrying about the world around me. I love True Love, it makes me cry every time (grateful tears), and The Light Will Come hit very close to home and helped me work through some things. Thank you for letting the Lord pour out through you and into your music so you could bless others and help them through hard times. Thanks!

Guys Ive been searching the ends of the earth for the chords for the song “after your heart” and the only one I could find is teh incorrect chords put out there by some guy named “Michael” I praise God he attempted it but I am looking for the accurate chords. Can anybody give a helping hand? Phil? !!
Thanks Phil! I love this song and love that fact that you took the time to share your version. Music has so much power to move ones soul, I appreciate how you wield it maturely. Congrats on getting engaged!
Curious – and this is kind of a personal question – what were the emotions behind the song? You seemed like you were feeling sad? Disillusioned, perhaps? Definitely some negative emotion, it seemed like. Although, in the end, it seemed like singing the song was a relief to you – just to have expressed those emotions in song. I feel that way when I write – just relieved to have expressed my feelings. ^_^ I guess if I were musically fluent, I would probably express myself in that way – it’s interesting how art can be such a powerful outlet for expressing and releasing painful emotions! The arts are definitely a blessing to the artist in that way, for sure. ^_^
Bored… I ask the Lord to make me consciously aware of Him in every moment. I never heard that song before. I guess because I’m always listening to your music. Your voice & that song=good combination.thanks
Hey.. what are the chords you used in this? I’m going on a mission trip this summer and all the music we’ll have is voice and two acoustic guitars, one being mine, and I’d love to know how to play this!
