Hey everyone.
May 9th is one week away and I am getting really excited about the worship night with you all. We are getting all the final details settled and moving forward smoothly. I have noticed that a few people will be traveling in from outside of the Portland area and I started wondering today who would be coming from the furthest away. So that’s the question today.
Who’s planning on coming to the show next Friday from the furthest away, and how far is it?

Ok, here is one of my most favorite songs that you wrote that I covered and probably butchered. Your version, of course is my favorite running song!
Good luck tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, Ellie M. I was wondering the time. I’ll be watching from my home in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Go, Phil!
Hi Davss… Sry. I would if i could. but i live 3 minutes away, and if i asked my mom to pick you up, we would kinda be going out of our way. But I have a feeling somebody will be able to!! God Bless. ~Ellie
On a side note to the concert– I would really like to NOT pay for a taxi ride to and from the Double Tree (my hotel) down to the venue. Would anyone be so kind as to pick me up at least??? What a blessing that would be. See my myspace to see that I’m not a creep. Cheers.

I just found out today that I got off work, so I can go. God willing, I’ll be driving from Bellingham to my parent’s house near Seattle and then driving to Portland. It will be about 271 miles or 4.5 hours…
Yippee!! I can’t believe it…. 3 days away!!
Here everyone, here are details about the 9th. (just to have your questions answered) Its Solid Rock’s website: http://ajesuschurch.org/upcoming_events.php and for those of you who don’t go to the websit, its at 7:30, and it’s free.
I am sooo excited! I live in Oregon City, which is only about a 30 min. drive, but with traffic… ok I know that doesn’t count.
Yay! Is it free? I’m so glad I’m getting off work in time to come!
for those watching at home, will it be on phil’s site?
can’t wait for a great night of worship fri!!!
I go to school in Oklahoma and would pay any price to come to the show, but I can’t because I have a final exam on that day! UGH….graduation from College isn’t that important right?
Will be watching via the internet.
Phil, PLEASE sing “Take My Heart” from your independent album, and Divine Romance. My favorite.
Staci

Dern gas prices…if I had one last blissful summer off, I would certainly be roadtripping it from Oklahoma. Or Michigan. Or something in between. I have been itching to do a southwest/west coast road trip. This may have been my perfect excuse, were it not for the timing. =)
Rock on, Phil. Have fun, everyone!

I will be flying out of Boise Friday afternoon to catch the show in Ptown. Some of my friends will be road-tripping it from Boise … but I prefer air over land. See you there, Phil.
Hi Phil – my friends and I are coming from the hometown of Oregon State University, good ol’ Corvallis, Oregon – just 1.5 hours away but maybe more longer if traffic is not too nice. We cannot wait and have been using this event as motivation to get through a tough week in school. Honestly, your music overall has gotten me personally through some very tough times, and I always feel God being closer when I put your music on. Thanks for being the messenger.
We’ll be praying for your safe travels and for all those attending. God Bless!
I agree with Brittany Rose!! I live in Biloxi, MS, (a short drive from Bay St. Louis) and would love to see you come down here!! And personally, I would very much like to see you go on an acoustic tour! Thanks for singing, hope to see you one day!!
I just went to mapquest.com to find out the distance between me in California and Portland Oregon, according to it I am 16 hours and 44 minutes away and the distance is 1055.79 miles. I will be watching online and I can’t wait!
if i could drive. i would be ther from INDIANA. but the no drivers liscense deal ruins all thunder…
Phil you should put this on a dvd or have a download online with the chords and lyrics to the songs you’ll be singing. It would be a great resource for worship leaders around the world!
btw…I’m from San Diego and unfortunately I can’t drive all the way up there cause of school n’ church but I’ll do my best to make it online cause we have highschool/college group during that time. Hopefully it’ll be available to view again as a download, streaming video, or even better a DVD
and a cd to pop into your car
