Hey everyone.
May 9th is one week away and I am getting really excited about the worship night with you all. We are getting all the final details settled and moving forward smoothly. I have noticed that a few people will be traveling in from outside of the Portland area and I started wondering today who would be coming from the furthest away. So that’s the question today.
Who’s planning on coming to the show next Friday from the furthest away, and how far is it?
-phil

Phil you should put this on a dvd or have a download online with the chords and lyrics to the songs you’ll be singing. It would be a great resource for worship leaders around the world!
btw…I’m from San Diego and unfortunately I can’t drive all the way up there cause of school n’ church but I’ll do my best to make it online cause we have highschool/college group during that time. Hopefully it’ll be available to view again as a download, streaming video, or even better a DVD
Melody Milbrandt, the show starts at 7:30 (I’d get there a lot earlier) and it is free admission.
Just saw your twitter comment and it made me laugh—about Coldplay’s new song.
My husband has been listening to it over and over, he is so excited too (I like it, I just don’t like the crazy guitar—not used to it, I guess).
I was just thinking “I wonder if Phil is signed up to Coldplay’s mailing list….” Guess my question was answered!
PHIL – I was hoping to come all the way from little ol’ Pleasant Hill, Missouri (outside of Kansas City). It’d be awesome to bring my sister Amanda along as a surprise.
I do believe that would be the “longest trip winner.” However, I have no idea if you need tickets and if so how nuch they are or where you’d get ‘em or if you even still can. I’m kinda running out of time for gathering such info (hint, hint, hint).
Before I spend $ on airfare. Then, figure out the hotel stuff. Oh yea, I suppose I’d have to get a rental car, too as I don’t know anyone else who’ll be there. And I’d need a map (or ten) as directions and I are like oil and water. Wonder how much that’ll cost – never had to rent a car myself before. Anyway, so uh yea… that is a lot to figure out in about four days isn’t it? Hmmmmmmmmmm – (sigh).
Either way, God’s doing a new thing for you in this and He loves to do new things. I am fully joyed for you Phil. However, I get to be a part of it…will be a big Jesus hug for me. So, thanks in advance and you’re in my prayers.
God bless, bless, bless you – Melody
P.S.
Like the new layout (kuddos to your “crew” – ya know who you are). Sweet!
The show is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM Pacific Time.

Hey!
I’m from Australia (Sydney) too! Hopefully, I can watch it online- if I can figure out the time difference and I’m free. Having the show recorded and available for downloading would be a great idea- that way alot more poeple can watch it.

hey phil, I was really hoping to watch your show live online but I have a Christian Fellowship meeting which I attend to every Friday night…so I was wondering if would you have the whole show recorded so that we could watch after? oh by the way, I’m from Australia :>
Thats one really giant car…san antonio, texas
ha. I just noticed the map. cool. May 9th. Thats awesome! I can’t wait. lol
hey phil.
i would go in a heartbeat!..but i have school
and i live about maybe 35 hours away by car.
probably couldnt afford a plane ride.
and i cant watch it online because i have to go to a photoshoot thing that night. possibly we can watch some of it there? hmmm…
I’ll be watching online because I’m from Australia. Although this makes me the furthest away, I’d still prefer to see the concert live…
Allysa, idk if a Phil will respond to you or not, but I think it is around 7:00. I could be wrong. I’m not positive.
I think I will be watching online, but I don’t know what time it is.So what time is it phil?
Cool. I still… can’t wait. Are we allowed to have cameras there? Our cell phones will probably have to be turned off. right? From Solid Rock Fellowship Church…. I live about…. 2 or 3 minutes away. ya. I don’t think i’m the farthest away. Maybe the closest though. lol.
ha. so yeah….. see you in a week. I’m expecting to get your autograph. lol. who wouldn’t want it?
I would so go if I had the money to stay the night seeing I live in Sparks, Nv which is connected to Reno..
You should come here some time.
I live 2 hours away. But I’ll be watching online. Sorry!
I am coming from Gresham, not too far away. Do you have to buy tickets, or is it first come first served? If it is the latter, than I am camping out ahha.
You know, I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch online on that day D:
My mom has a concert of her own that night.
See, Phil? This is what you get for not coming here. One less viewer.
I’m coming down from Tacoma, Wa. It’s about 3 hrs. so not very far but worth it! We’re getting a hotel and spending the night in Portland. We’re so excited!!
im watching online…im from chicago,illinois.
i was supposed to see u today, but i cant now :[
i wish i could go on may 9th tho, but ill for sure be watching
-Amanda-
Im coming from salem which is about 45 minutes to an hour drive with some other people so it might be carpool
i still think you should come to Bay St Louis, Mississippi. this is off subject but perhaps if i keep bothering you about it youll come.
im tellin ya, these people need some hope here. there are still people living in tents and over 4,000 families still living in temporary housing, which means FEMA campers or camping trailers, etc. its almost 3 years after Hurricane Katrina. they need some hope and your music could be something that will plant the seed in their hearts to want to get to know the Lord more.
also, i am also just planning to watch online. from here in MS. sorry cant make it out there.
I hope, hope, hope I’ll be able to watch online. If I manage to schedule that…
…I’ll be the the winner so far as I’m tuning in from the Netherlands.
Sorry, Sarah!
I’ll probably be watching online, I just don’t know what time it starts…
I’m from New Jersey, but since I won’t actually be there, it doesn’t count.
I’ll be watching in England. So far, I am the winner.
