Hey Everyone.
Thanks for making last night such a special night. I am excited to hear how the record comes out. Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and thanks to everyone who watched it online. I had a great time and am so glad I was able to be a part of it.
I will have details soon about when the record will be available here on the blog, so keep checking back.
So, here’s a question. If you watched the show online what part of the country are you in? I know there were some ‘East Coasters’ watching and it was pretty late out there. Thanks again for everyone that was involved. And thank you so much Solid Rock Church.

i watched it from the end of the stage
great job! twas truly a blessing – thanks for not laughing at me when i was embarrassed by my friends
saturday night we saw you in oceanside. which was totally a God thing. we were checking out a bible college close by and saw a flyer for the concert and decided to make the trek and see our favorite singer!
man oh man we were so BLESSED. some of us cried the whole stinking night ’cause it was WORSHIPFUL. the whole night you kept pointing us to Jesus and I think God used you to confirm some major stuff in my heart. I loved how at the end we were worshiping the Lord as you left the stage. Usually at the end of concerts the crowd is cheering the musician but Saturday we were cheering the creator of the musician.
I wish I could sit and talk with you for hours about what God has been doing in your heart and how he has inspired you to write such beautiful and godly songs.
you are truly a vessel of God. I intend on listening to your music until forever.
God bless you Phil, and i hope one day i’ll get to see you again.
PS: thanks for siging my shoe…is that the weirdest thing you;ve signe? hahaha
Thank you Phil for your heart. four of my friends hooked up our laptop into a projector. One of the best worship services I have ever seen, I we were not even there. “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” John 4:23. Your a prime example of this scripture, thanks again phil.
That night at “The Way” was amazing! I shoved myself into a back corner and was in pure worship. I haven’t done that in a while and I loved every minute of it. Thanks for choosing Portland to do your live recording in. We were honored to have you!
Central Texas!!!
i got some decent shots from that night, Phil. you needing any for your website or anything like that? I’m sure there were plenty of people getting plenty of shots, but let me know if you’d like to get some of mine. There’s a couple on my blog, amoslanka.wordpress.com
I watched from southern Indiana! Great job. I am looking forward to hearing the edited songs.
Hey Phil—I was watching from Virginia, about an hour outside D.C. It was awesome to see the show from over here. It was very late, which I was sort of thankful for since I got off work super late and was able to make it home before you came up.
I watched it from Antelope Valley, CA
Phil! I was at Solid Rock on Friday and such such a fantastic time. The Holy Spirit was definitely flowing and it truly was a worship experience that I didn’t want to end.
And I agree with Ellie, more chairs might be needed, or at least a softer floor to stand on
But I’m pretty sure everyone was so deep in worship no one even noticed the floor or lack of chairs!
Really though it was a great time.
PS (You might get a laugh out of this): I brought my good friend Allie who has never heard you sing before, and after the first chorus to desire she leaned over to me and said, “Oh my gosh, he sings like an angel!”
haha, have a blessed night phil.
Hey Phil-
I just want to say thank you for coming out to Solid Rock to worship! It was an amazing experience and your skills are pretty amazing! Phil your show was incredible. The best part was that it was so intimate with just the acoustic and nothing else. The power of His spirit was really cool.
