Hello my blog friends!!
This past weekend was an exciting one to say the least. If you’re just showing up here for the first time, I released a live recording on Friday as a free download available only at this site. There were quite a few hurdles to jump during the week leading up to the release, but we were able to pull it off. We actually finished uploading the record onto the site only 30 seconds before it was available to all of you guys. In fact, the first time I heard the record was after I had downloaded it in my hotel room in Connecticut.
Now, three days later, it seems everything is running smoothly and we’re closing in on 10,000 downloads! Which is awesome! One thing I didn’t expect was that this Live Recording seems to have had an affect on the iTunes sales of my other records, “Cannons” and the Self Titled one. “Cannons” has actually come quite close to entering into the top 10 Christians albums list. So here’s my request, a challenge if you will. Are you ready? For those of you who don’t have my latest studio album, “Cannons”, or even have friends that don’t have the record, let’s try to get this thing into the Top Ten Albums. It’s been exciting for me to see it jump so far up the list simply from your interest, and it would be amazing to see it climb even higher. For those of you that either already have the record or can’t get the entire thing, I’d love it if you would consider at least purchasing the newest single, “True Love”. Sound like a plan? Who’s with me?!

On a personal note, I’ve been a “phan” (fan) for quite some time.. and bro, I love your music. It’s so humble and pure. I’ve actually done a few of your songs for worship sessions and people just response to the purity of the lyrics. May God continue to bless you as a vessel of His mighty word.

Phil that ROCKS. I am so glad to hear that. I think you need to be number one because your heart is what everyone needs to hear. God be glorified.
I wrote about what bands, etc were on my ipod and I wrote about you before I even read this tonight. That worked out nicely.

Hey Phil Cannons is #11 right now YAY!!!
There’s a pretty good chance I’m going to get to go see you in Fontana in September. I don’t know if you’ll get to do autographs after wards but I’m taking something for you to sign just in case, I think I’m gonna have my mom go up to you though, I think I’ll be way to nervous to go up to you myself unless I see that your doing pictures with other fans. My mom says it’s rediculous for me to be nervous cause your just a normal person like me, I know she’s right but I look up to you and I don’t want to embaress myself.
