I was surprised to hear my song “After Your Heart” on the Today Show monday morning. Did anyone else catch the 5 seconds they used to intro the “heart-healthy” cooking special? Kinda fun:)

Man what an encouraging thing to have happen. It is always cool when your music makes it in to those circles an reminds you that you are having an impact beyond the borders of the church, keep up the good work man, I am enjoying watching your process in the studio with Pete.
wow that made me laugh… i mean its kinda funny .. like im excited they put your song on that. but it makes you think if this is a health segmet whos after your heart..doctors…food… hmm.. okay im werid… and maybe confusing.. but honestly i always wonder if they had to ask the singer/band if they could play your song… and i guess they never asked you. so wow years of wondering that finally figured it out. well maybe phil if your song already landed on goodmorning american you know whats next… GREYS ANATOMY it only makes sense since the song is about going after your heart.. and maybe in the show they need a transplant of a heart or something… okay im rambling..

That’s hilarious. Wish you’d get paid for it though! Reminds me of AT&T using Oasis’ “All Around the World” as their commercial jingle.

Oh and I think that ttyl really does mean “tickle time yay laugh!” I mean, how can anyone think it means “talk to you later”?
Okay this is totally random. I gave a copy of the Singalong CD to the guy who leads worship at my church and he says, “His dad used to be in this band back in the 70′s that I listened to.” So today he lent me The Parable! Tell your dad nice beard:) I’m gonna have to check out their tunes….

Using “After Your Heart” for a show about “heart-healthy dishes”… I think they’re missing the point.

Oh my goooooooosh! That’s so great! I am so excited for you. You know I’ve been so surprised lately to hear christian songs on regular shows. Songs like Robby Seay’s song “Rise” for an American Idol commercial, “I Can only Imagine” on american idol, and oh yeah let’s not forget “Shout to the Lord on American Idol. I like American Idol. WEll, philip I hope this is just the start of many new things to come for you and your music. Amen, my friend
