I was just sent a few photos from the recent shoot I did with long time friend and photographer Christian Rios, a man with an eye for the artistic. This shoot was for the new record, which is currently being set up for a September 1st release. Though there is no official title for the album yet, reoccurring themes of Heaven and the subsequent longings that the human heart has for the place have bubbled to the surface (there is a song called “Heaven and Earth” that has some title potential), so we wanted the images to move away from the previous moody, organic feel of past installments and move towards white, clean, brightness.

We have some post-shoot ideas to bring some otherworldly quality to the shots, but you can’t see those yet.
Heaven And Earth has a nice ring to it though… what do you think?

Like them but they look eighties! In ten years we will look at it and wonder what is going on!
BTW—I have to really fight over here to promote your music. I am a worship leader at my church and I get so much opposition from fellow musicians (I have a hunch that I have great musical taste). {cough, sputter, cough}
If you leave the Christian music scene there will be nothing left for me! LOL
i like “heaven and earth”. seems that often people focus on one more and forget the other. there will indeed one day be a “new heaven and new earth”. that gives us hope but also keeps us grounded. can’t wait to hear the album when it’s done.

I like the more upbeat version of heaven and earth better than the slowed down version. The upbeat version is like really fun to jump around with haha. Phil you are my hero, and you influence my music greatly. whatever you choose for your record will please God greatley!
