This song has been on repeat for weeks. It’s incredibly moving for me! Thanks for a great song and even greater album. Great work…God sure has you placed where he wants you.
Absolutely in love with the strings . When I bought the album and was listening to it at work, the strings are what brought my attention to this song. Which after finally listening to the lyrics actually has led to be found a very encouraging song for me personally this week (God’s so great like that) Thank you! I play and teach the violin and it is inspiring to hear the instrument you play in amazing, powerful, meaningful songs. I can’t tell you how many times I have listened to this piece of art to sing the violin part and then repeat to sing the lyrics. Hope to see you in concert again…with an orchestra possibly?

This song is a wonderful wake up. It gets stuck in my head and I am, then, easily reminded that my actions need to fit my words. The time is now to make that happen!

I pre-ordered the new CD mainly to get the acoustic version – I love the Sing-a-long album and acoustic versions of the new songs!! I saw Phil at Joyce Meyer in St.Louis in 2008 and have listened to him ever since. This is the music I put on when I need a pick-me-up or faith reality check. Keep up the wonderful, amazing work!!
Nice mesage, it really speaks to me a lot because most christians llike to think praising our God is just in a church and the concept holds much more. I also heard the strings at the end…made me want do do an Irish Jig. ;]

I just want to say that your music is amazing. All of the lyrics are so true and beautiful and speaking to my heart. I can hear your passion for Jesus in every great song. When I came from school last week and my mother told me that the Cannons-CD arrived, I jumped for joy (I think that means it), ran to the table and unpacked it…since then I hear it every day, in the bus on the way to school, while doing my homework (I can do it better with music, I don’t know why), in the afternoon…I just can’t get enough of it!! And I can’t wait for the new CD…the songs are sounding great!
Is it snowing in America too? Our garden is white! And it is only october!!
The time is here! I can’t wait to see my Lord!

heyhey! so I’m just a crazy musichead and I always notice and love the background music and it plays in my head along with the vocals and I was absolutely fascinated with the strings! I ended up actually annoying my sister from always singing the string part, and not the words.
so it took me a while to realize you were not riding but DRIVING with your hands not on the wheel…

Hey Phil, love watching all your vids. Before you even mentioned the strings I was thinking “Wow, the strings and production sounds amazing on this track!” and then you mentioned the strings and it made me listen even harder. Not got the record yet- really excited to get it soon though!

“The Time is Now” is my favorite song of the album! The strings blow me away, and the lyrics are amazing. Love it!
