You’re Invited

Hey guys,
Rehearsals are over, and the real thing starts tonight in Temple, TX. I’ve wanted this tour to happen for a long time, and I’m so stoked it’s finally here.

In answer to some questions, I do have a band with me on this tour and they’re really fun to give high fives to. So make sure you give them lots of high fives to when you come to one of the nights!

I’ve been loving Mallory’s posts, and I’m sure you have too. She filled me in on a bunch of great ideas you guys came up with. We’ll get working on those ASAP.

Now it’s off to lunch. I hear it’s home made beef and cheese sandwiches.

    Phil,
I just have to say that I am so sad that you are not visiting Wisconsin on this tour! I have been waiting for you to visit the Milwaukee area since I discoverd your music in 2006. I hope to someday hear your music on a concert stage. It would be a blessing to have you visit Mlwaukee.

Philly! and Mallory! Is this your first tour together being married? I remember when she was just Ms. Plotnik (I was kinda familiar with your circle of friends through mutual friends- sorry for the stalkerishness). But it is a beautiful marriage. I really wish I could have gone but you guys are going to really far cities in Texas. And I love that you and Leeland are touring together, but maybe I can go next time.

Please be safe on the road and have fun reaching ppl for Christ =)

    aaaaannnnd HAPPY BELATED BIRFDAY!!!

Wow… Thank you for the very kind and very cool message. You guys seem refreshingly different than most musicians (even christian ones). I sense a genuine passion and love for Christ in you guys that I don’t normally see among the “saved.”

I wish you well on your tour. I won’t see you because you refuse to come near West Virginia. haha…

ps – I met Phil recently in Rio Grande, Ohio. I’m certain he remembers me, for we discussed his non-capo playing ability.
