I saw you in Reading, PA last month with Mercy Me. I wish I would have known more of your music -you were awesome! Of course I like “Safe”, but I think Eden is my favorite on that CD. Come back to PA soon! Blessings to you!
Hey,
I love worship – God can somehow give so many different people a plethera of styles to work with~ and its all unified in Him. I love your worship style..it is heart pounding and energetic – even with the simplest of worship songs…
It’s like you literally sit in silence and wait for the words – and melody to be breathed into you.
When I’m writing i go deep into the country and just feel creation’s song, and I really value the depth of the words God has given you…
It seems really obvious to me that the beauty you’ve encountered simply by being with God has truely impacted your life -
It is so refreshing to see movement like that in the spirit of God’s people…
More than the words, move than the song -
Praying futher in depth of inspiration to you as you press into God in your own quiet time…
God will unlock the secrets of a “modern” day psalmist
Be blessed in the city, and blessed in the country Mr. Wickam
God’s hand is on you.

Hi Anita! Thanks so much for your encouragement and suggestions for songs to sing! Just wanted to let you know that we’ve actually done an arrangement of Brandon Heath’s “Give Me Your Eyes”. You can find the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mrrZHij77A, or you can just YouTube “FCS Give Me Your Eyes”. Hope you enjoy! =)
Phil,
Just wanted to make the connection for you. I arranged “Eden” for FCS after hearing it at the start of your Heaven and Earth tour last year at Central Peninsula Church in Foster City
Was absolutely touched by your music and sharing and bought up your CD that night. Come back to the bay area anytime! Don’t be surprised if you hear another one of your songs covered by FCS this year…

Also, thanks to you Phil for keeping in mind some of the great praise songs of our recent past…I really appreciate how you reach back and dust off some of the great songs of our past. (Like “Spirit of the Living God) There is MUCH wisdom in that practice.
Phil, would you (re)do any really old songs, such as the ‘Vexilla Regis’? A lot of these expressions of faith will be lost to time unless we recast them to speak to the times while also retaining their true character.

Thanks for finding us, Phil! We feel so blessed you’ve found our video and thanks for making an amazing song for us to compose to acapella. All for God! We pray you are well and keep up your awesome ministry with your amazing talent. Praise Jesus!
Wow… I love this song! It is a reminder for me every time I hear it that there is still hope, that there is more than this world that we have perverted… that we didn’t come from nothing, that evil isn’t a thing in and of itself. Just as darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence or perversion of Good, and nothing is beyond reconciliation with God!
FREAKIN AWESOME!! I Loved listening to that – could you have picked a harder / higher Whickham song to sing?!?
You guys nailed it – well done everyone!!!
Blessings from Scotland.

What a great cover of a great song! Thanks for the blessing, guys!
Here is a vid of Phil riffing to the song “Spirit of the Living God” a couple weeks ago at SMU (here in Dallas)…I loved the looseness and flow of it.

WOW! This is sweet. So encouraging.
The background voices really hit it out of the ballpark! So proud of my alma mater — GO BEARS! Thanks for writing the song, Phil!
