Actually, sorry to both of you, Matthew and Brooke, but I don’t think you come close to matching my fanship. I used to say I didn’t like to sing, but a couple years ago I found out about Phil Wickham, and I’ve never heard a singer with a better voice or who writes more amazing lyrics than him. I literally learned every song on his Heaven & Earth album within one week, so well I could sing and play every song the whole way through without messing up once. I was 13 or 14 then, and that’s when people started saying I had an amazing voice, and then I got better, and then people started saying I sounded exactly like Phil wickham. It’s because I learned to sing by listening very closely to Phil Wickham’s voice. I have all his songs and know the words and chords to almost all of them. My sister used to love Phil Wickham, and now she gets annoyed every time I plug my iPod into the speakers to listen to nothing but Phil Wickham. And now I lead worship at my youth group, and in a week or so I’m going to start leading worship at church – none of this would be true if I hadn’t heard about Phil Wickham.
oh! and matthew…phil does signings at some of his concerts…..usually the really big ones. Ive been to many of his, and I’ve only seen him signing at like 2…besides youth convention . And i so agree….i want his signature on my guitar too but its gonna be hard to get hime too. If u get there REALLY early to one of his smaller concerts, u might be lucky enough to see his rehearsal, then u could ask him to sign it BEFORE the concert instead of AFTER . I almost got my guitar signed that way….but i had forgotten a sharpie! bummer for me

I only sound like a creep, cuz phil was and is my inspiration in music since like 2008! my dream is to be the worship leader for my dad’s church….and phil is like the best one ever! And its true…i have a little (maybe big) obsession over him, but i cant help it, im a 15 year girl and he’s kind of adorable haha …..but any ways, he’s not an idol….God is all the idol i need . Dude, I don’t know how old you are, but make sure you’re not idolizing this person. I’m sure he would not want that, and anyway, God made you unique. Christ in you will look a little different than Christ in Phil or me, because of the calling on each of our lives. Let the Lord impart what He wills through PW’s music, and take it as from Him! And go on. I bless Phil, his music has brought me back to life — but I know it’s really Jesus through Phil, and He’s the One I give thanks to. Worship JESUS — He alone is worthy. (God bless you as you learn to play and worship with the guitar. It’s the way I connect best with my Creator,too!).

Now i get to see him for the 4th year in a row at youth convention, and I am SUPER stoked! just saw him on Sunday at maranatha chapel…loved it again! The Sing Along 2 night or youth conventions are by far my fave phil wickham nights! love u phil!!! p.s. dont EVER cut ur hair, or stop wearing v-necks and boots!…they’re perfect! and loved the katniss boots u wore on sunday!…..2ps. my youth group is probably sick of hearing ur songs (cuz its ALL i play there on guitar…not only cuz i ONLY play ur songs on guitar . love ur music and love u (mallory got u first…jk but seriously, u rock! OH! and i dont know if u know this, but on sunday, i accidently bumped into u (literally) while u were walking down an aisle with some dude! U probably dont remember, but trust me…i freaked out, and couldve fainted right there! I was the girl in the black shirt (that said “I love phil wickham”) with two other people, we showed up SUPER early to get a good seat, and we got to watch ur sound check! It was amazing! Had the most amazing time (and i still cant believe my arm touched urs!, maybe some of ur amazing talent rubbed off…that would be awesome!) I was even brought my guitar for u to sign, but never got the chance . maybe at youth convention (maybe u remember me there, i was the one who had u sign a drawing i made of u…it stunk, but u still signed it . I have it in this scrapbook i made, called my “book of awesome” and its filled with almost everything anyone needs to know about u (u have NO idea! . And i know u live in san diego, and i live in san diego….and its like impossible to stalk u (JK!) but i think it would be awesome to like run into u at a store or something! ! well, see u at yc in november! -phillip david wickham stalker (i told u i know WAY too much about u!)….aka phil’s number one fan!….cant wait for ur next album! I just got a guitar for the first time 2 weeks ago, and I can already play 3 of his songs! God has prophecied over me to be an evangelist, with a mighty healing ministry. If Phil Wickham talked to me, that would be one of the greatest things in my life! I love Phil Wickham!
