Hey everyone. Thanks for taking the time to visit the site and download the record. This has been a long process but I am super excited for you all to hear it. This record has been something that I have wanted to do for a long time and finally on May 9th this year, I was able to do a show in Portland, Oregon with just me and a guitar and record it. The album artwork is simply the faces that were sent in to my blog from people that either attended the show or watched the show as it was broadcast on my blog. Thank you all for being a part of it.
Below this post you will see a place for you to comment on the recording and write your reviews. I’d love to hear what you all think. Also we have some other neat things available including a chance to download the album artwork as well as some desktops with the artwork and song lists. Also at some point down the road we are hoping to have a video from the night available.

For a long time I thought worship was only “effective” with lots of instruments like trumpets, percussionists, grand pianos, clarinets.. the list goes on. These are all great things but when I listen to Singalong with just the voice of the saints and a guitar, what I feel is the sweet presence of God and I can’t help but worship. (I’m at work and I can’t contain myself!) It’s not fancy intruments that draws the Lord near but our hearts longing to glorify Him just because of who He is. This is worship! Worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth is so accurately personified in this record and I thank you for allowing us to share that sweet experience. What a privilege is it to be used by the God!

Hey Phil. I’m Real excited to download the album, but keep getting errors on the download page saying permission denied. Something your aware of? It’s happened on two computers at two different locations. I’m very excited to get it when I can and listen to it. Sounds like people love it!
Absolutely beautiful! I get chills when I hear that many people singing together! You know God is in the house! Hearing the crowd sing Divine Romance was amazing! Your version of How Great Thou Art is the most beautiful I have ever heard, next to hearing my mother (Daniel’s granny) sing that when I was a little girl…brought a very sentimental memory and tears to my eyes! Phil, as usual epic music. But this cd has been an unusual comfort to me while I am in the hospital with my young daughter. I was up watching at her bedside when it released and immediately grabbed it and turned it on. It was s wonderful thing to have your singalong playing as I prayed for her. She is only 11 months old and has been hospitalized 3x. As a parent it is so scary, especially having lost a friend (Christopher Laurie) so recently. Anyhow thanks for your awesome cd and especially for giving it out free. You are a blessing! I have already emailed tons of people to download it. Look forward to having you out at fresh life soon.

Hey Phil just downloaded the album must say that it is probably one of the best live worship albums I have heard. Your voice is right on and the people singing along also sound amazing (which you usually don’t get with a live recording) did you hold auditions before the show or something lol. Hey Phil got to see you at the house of blues in chicago! we were actually up in the foundation balcony and you walked by and said hey but we didn’t know who your were! our loss!!! after the show we were blown away! this cd reminds me of that show and blows me away everytime I listen and share your music with others! good album! so i saw you in portland when you played with dvid crowder and you were up on stage and you tapped your guitar and said “hey im phil and this is my band gibson”. the person next to me said, “wait, this band’s name is gibson?”

“Majestic” is the word that comes to mind as I listen to this live recording…I love that it captured holy moments so effectively! It’s almost like I’m there, singing along with the worshipers gathered that night.
The significance of this project, and the fact that Phil and his comrades are giving it away, is a beautiful thing.

I can’t believe this… Here I am this random girl in South Africa listening to “music like David Crowder” on Last.FM and I hear you for the first time, and like it immediately. I want to hear more but then am saddened, realising that it will cost loads to get hold of your CD here as it will probably have to be imported and I’m tight on cash.
