Hey guys,
Today is a momentous day in the life of Phil and friends. We moved to “Signature Sound” studio in San Diego for a few days to record drums for the new record. Even as I type this, the ruckus recording is taking place upon what probably will be the first track of the album. The song is called “Hold On” and I am much excited.
We brought in a few friends to aid us in our musical endeavors. Steve Churchyard (pictured accepting my hug), an english engineering bloke who has worked on everything from The Eagles to Kelly Clarkson to The Darkness. Now he can add Phil Wickham to his discography… I’m sure he’s thrilled.
And we’ve got Brandon Lozano rocking the drums. There’s a picture of Him with me and producer Pete Kipley, who is sporting a hat we bought last night just for this occasion.
