Hello my blog friends!!

This past weekend was an exciting one to say the least. If you’re just showing up here for the first time, I released a live recording on Friday as a free download available only at this site. There were quite a few hurdles to jump during the week leading up to the release, but we were able to pull it off. We actually finished uploading the record onto the site only 30 seconds before it was available to all of you guys. In fact, the first time I heard the record was after I had downloaded it in my hotel room in Connecticut.

Now, three days later, it seems everything is running smoothly and we’re closing in on 10,000 downloads! Which is awesome! One thing I didn’t expect was that this Live Recording seems to have had an affect on the iTunes sales of my other records, “Cannons” and the Self Titled one. “Cannons” has actually come quite close to entering into the top 10 Christians albums list. So here’s my request, a challenge if you will.  Are you ready?  For those of you who don’t have my latest studio album, “Cannons”, or even have friends that don’t have the record, let’s try to get this thing into the Top Ten Albums.  It’s been exciting for me to see it jump so far up the list simply from your interest, and it would be amazing to see it climb even higher.  For those of you that either already have the record or can’t get the entire thing, I’d love it if you would consider at least purchasing the newest single, “True Love”.  Sound like a plan?  Who’s with me?!

There has been a little confusion as to where this live recording will be available and how much it will cost.  I’d like to take this time to clarify.  Are you ready?

The live recording will be available exclusively here on this blog.  There are no stores that will carry it, and it’s a digital download only.  There will be a badge for those who choose to help promote it on their sites, but and that badge will link to the download page here on the blog.  On August 8th at midnight Pacific Time, this site will change and the download will be available so make sure you are all here.  Also, this recording will be completely FREE with your Email Address and Zip Code.

So there it is.  8/8/08.  Are you ready?  Make sure to tell your friends.
